But we don’t have the real beasts—the 90s DTM monsters with screaming four-cylinders, manual gearboxes, and zero driver aids. Let’s build them.”

Then came the BMW M3 E30 DTM. Unlike the road car, this version had a carbon roof, 340 horsepower from a 2.5-liter four-cylinder, and brakes that glowed orange in VR.
