CJ leaned against the rusted rail of his cul-de-sac in Grove Street. The sky over Los Santos bled orange, just like it always had. But something was wrong . CJ typed back: Who is this
CJ ran. He didn't know if he was running toward his creator, or toward the final patch that would erase his old, glitchy self forever. But as he crossed the bridge into the desert, the sand flickered—for just a second—into a perfect, code-less blue sky.
The mod had finished installing.
A new icon appeared on his radar: a burning bird.
