Now, with M betrayed and MI6 in lockdown, Bond must race from the flooded catacombs of Istanbul to a decaying oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico—where the antidote isn’t a cure, but a choice.

A young 00-trainee mission gone wrong. Bond (007 provisional) and Elara (009 candidate) are extracting a defector. A firefight collapses a reactor block. Bond chooses to save the defector. Elara is buried. MI6 declares her KIA. She was not dead—she was captured by SPECTRE, then sold to the Krovnaya Svyaz program as a test subject. The prion rewired her cellular structure. She cannot die of disease or age. But she can feel every genetic marker of her enemies. ACT III: The Arca Protocol (Gulf of Mexico – Oil Platform "El Descanso") Mission 3: "Blood in the Water" Elara escapes Siberia with a partial sample of El Arca. She intends to release it into the water supply of London, Paris, and New York—but only targeting the descendants of the original V76654 test subjects: a secret cabal of intelligence directors who funded the program in the 1970s, including a younger M.

This variant was abandoned because test audiences refused the "no right answer" ending and because Eon Productions felt it "made Bond complicit in genocide." Only three beta discs of v76654 exist. One is rumored to be in a private collection in Dubai. Another was allegedly wiped by MI6's real-life legal team. The third... remains unaccounted for.

As Bond extracts via speedboat, the sky tears open with drone strikes. The Dealer hacks Bond’s earpiece: "M sends a puppy to do a wolf’s work. Elara sends her regards."
