Microsoft Office 2007 Professional Activation Wizard May 2026

Looking back now, the Office 2007 Activation Wizard was a strange artifact. It was Microsoft’s bridge between the honor system of the 90s (CD keys were often just “FCKGW-…” shared on Napster) and the always-on, account-based licensing of today. It felt invasive, yes. But it also felt solid . Once activated, Office 2007 ran like a tank. No nag screens. No “sign in every 30 days.” Just a quiet, productive suite that asked for nothing else.

You felt licensed .

Then came the launch.

We laugh at it now. We meme about typing 50-digit codes over the phone. But in 2007, that wizard was the gatekeeper to your term paper, your business budget, your wedding slideshow. And when it let you through — when that green checkmark appeared — you didn’t just feel relieved.

Word, Excel, PowerPoint — any of them. A splash screen. A pause. And then it appeared: the . Microsoft Office 2007 Professional Activation Wizard

Relief.

But sometimes — sometimes — the wizard would say: “The product key you entered is already in use on another computer. Please enter a different product key.” And there, in that moment, you felt the full weight of Microsoft’s Genuine Advantage initiative. You weren’t just activating software. You were proving your digital morality. Looking back now, the Office 2007 Activation Wizard

And if you typed it correctly? A tiny green checkmark. The words: “Thank you for activating Microsoft Office Professional 2007.”

  1. Looking for mentioning of remote start capability using remote or phone app and dual fuel capability

    • For non-inverter units, all the model numbers with “SX” (electric start + iGX engine) have remote start capability. For inverter units, as of now, only the EU7000iS can be remotely started. There are currently no Honda dual fuel units.

  2. Hi Paul, Very good article. Thank you
I have a EU3000is S/N EZGF 1127594. I bought it in Canada. The rest of the letters behind the Model Number I do not have. This S/N is on the frame. Should there be another some where. I need to order parts and want to be sure of the model.

Nice work, Paul. You made it quite clear. Thanks!!

  6. On the Honda EU2200i what is the difference between just a i at the end and some with TAG and I think LAN if I got that right?

    • There are no major differences. EU2200i is the common model name. The final letters are usually US-specific ones to denote a specific version of the model. TAG=made in Thailand (T), for the US-market (A), can be sold in California (G). TAN=made in Thailand(T), for the US-market (A), cannot be sold in California (N).

  7. Very helpful info from an expert.
Other than price are there any advantages of a non-inverter Honda generator ?
