Photoshop 7.0 was the "Starter Pokemon" of design. It was complex enough to feel powerful, but simple enough to learn in a high school computer lab. It didn't have AI that generates a lake in three seconds. You had to clone stamp that lake pixel by pixel, and you were grateful for it.
