At the cabin, Sloane locks Dante in the wine cellar. But Kenzie, still under his spell, tries to free him. A physical struggle ensues. Kenzie finally sees the real Dante—cruel, laughing at her “daddy issues.” He shoves Kenzie. Sloane, without hesitation, grabs a cast-iron pan and hits Dante, knocking him out cold.

It has been 14 months since Mark, a wealthy architect, died unexpectedly. His widow, Sloane (29) , a former contemporary dancer, is now the sole guardian of his teenage daughter, Kenzie (18) .
