Lily grinned back. "I'm glad too, Summer. We're going to have an amazing time together."
"Yeah, sure," Summer replied, curious.
One day, as they were hanging out in the backyard, Lily turned to Summer and said, "Hey, can I ask you something?"
Lily, on the other hand, seemed to take to Summer immediately. She flounced over to Summer, her blonde ponytail bouncing behind her, and gave her a big hug. "I'm so excited to meet you, Summer!" she exclaimed. "I've heard so much about you!"
As the days went by, Summer found herself growing more and more frustrated with Lily's constant presence. Lily would follow her everywhere, asking her a million questions, and trying to get her to join in on her silly games. Summer just wanted some space.
